Standing Tall: Supporting People with Disabilities in Ghana
Living with a disability in Ghana can be a daily struggle. Social stigma, lack of accessibility, and limited employment opportunities make it difficult for individuals with disabilities to live independently. At KLASO Foundation, we believe in creating a more inclusive society where everyone has the chance to thrive.
We provide mobility aids such as wheelchairs and crutches, offer vocational training, and run awareness campaigns to change public perception. Our goal is not just to support but to empower—helping individuals realize their full potential regardless of physical limitations.
Consider the story of Efua, a woman who lost her leg in an accident. With support from KLASO, she received a prosthetic limb and training in bead-making. Today, Efua runs a small business and inspires others in her community.
People with disabilities deserve more than pity—they deserve opportunity, respect, and support. Help us continue this important work by donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word.
